Friday and Saturday was spent just relaxing and visiting local open air markets close to Kailua, the town about 3 miles north of our condo.  The market consisted of mainly local vegetables, flowers and home grown produce.

These two guys were just to cute to pass without taking their pictures.

Saturday evening there was a local torch light parade similar to Seattle's parade.

We spent an enjoyable dinner evening with our friends Alex and Gerry Sladowski, who are traveling with us.
View from our condo.  We could not ask for a better location.

The morning routine is to watch the local surf boarders while sipping local Kona coffee on the lanai.  Some of the surfers are quite talented.

After attending a local church service this morning we took off  and headed north of  town  to  visit the Hilton Hotel grounds.  It is truly a beautiful vacation spot with canals and heavy garden vegetation and numerous golf courses.
